About Chess

Chess is a two-player strategy board game played on an 8x8 grid. It is one of the oldest and most popular games in the world, requiring critical thinking, planning, and foresight.

Basic Rules

• Each player starts with 16 pieces.
• The goal is to checkmate the opponent’s king.
• Each piece moves in a unique way (pawn, rook, knight, bishop, queen, king).
• You cannot move into check.
